2017 CUAM Nanjing Mountain Marathon will be held at Panlong Lake this weekend, on March 26. For those who have successfully registered for the race, please plan your trip, including accommodation, transportation and so on, in advance. Please also read the below race information before the marathon. We wish you good luck in 2017 CUAM Nanjing Mountain Marathon!

• - Race Information

March 26, 2017, Sunday, Panlong Lake, Jiangning District, Nanjing

There are three groups.

• 1. 42km group, with an aggregate elevation gain of 1200m

• 2. 25km group, with an aggregate elevation gain of 500m

• 3. 12km group, with an aggregate elevation gain of 300m

• II. Pickup of Race Packet and Legacy Runners’ Woolen Tee

• - Pickup Location

Crowne Plaza Nanjing (No.9 Jiahu East Road, Jiangning District, Nanjing)

• - How to pick them up

• 1. Participants who have successfully registered for the race will have to pick up their race packets at Crowne Plaza Nanjing (No.9 Jiahu East Road, Jiangning District, Nanjing) with their packet pickup slips and original IDs on March 25, Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Bib numbers can be queried and packet pickup slips can be downloaded at the official website between March 1 and March 25. Only participants themselves can pick up their race packets.

• 2. Legacy runners (2-year to 4-year participants) can pick up their race packets in special packet pickup windows and can get a Huluanpao souvenir woolen tee for free.

• - Items contained in the Race Packet

Note:

For participants who don’t show up in the race for some reason, please send email to service@skyviewsport.com within 2 weeks after the race to ask the race committee to mail the race packet (cash on delivery). The race committee has the right to scrap all race packets that stay unclaimed for more than 2 weeks after the race.

• III. Preparation before the Race

BIB number

• 1. The committee will provide participants with two bib numbers, one large and one small. Please correctly fill in the emergency contact information on the back side of the large bib number with waterproof marker and pin it onto the front side of your race T-shirt.

• 2. The small bib number should be inserted into the transparent pocket on the outside of the packet for deposit use.

• - Timing Chip

Please tie the timing chip to your shoelace to fasten it on one of your shoes, as shown in the below picture.

Notes:

• 1. Please ensure to properly wear the timing chip provided by the race committee and step onto the timing mats set up on the race course. Otherwise your race time won’t be recorded and you won’t have a race time after finishing the race. The race committee won’t be responsible for such kind of issues.

• 2. Please avoid having your timing chip in contact with magnetic items. Otherwise there is a chance that the chip wouldn’t work properly.

• 3. Race time can’t be recorded if one person is wearing two or more than two timing chips.

• 4. We don’t recycle the timing chip after the race.

• - Travel to the start location/ Travel from the finish location

2017 CUAM Nanjing Mountain Marathon will be held at Panlong Lake, located in Jiangning District of Nanjing. Since no public transportation from downtown gets access to Panlong Lake, the committee will arrange shuttle buses travelling between downtown and the race area on the race day for the convenience of participants. There will be traffic control on the race day and no private vehicles will be allowed to access the race area.

• - Bag Deposit and Bag Claim

Time:

Bag Deposit: March 26, 7:30 a.m. – 8:20 a.m.

Bag Claim: Till 5 p.m. on the race day

Location: Nanjing Panlong Lake Shanshui Resort

Proof of bag deposit and claim: Please insert the small bib number into the transparent pocket of the race packet, with the race number facing outside. Bib number must be shown to the staff for bag claim.

Notes:

• 1. All participants can deposit one baggage at the start location and claim it on the race day after the race.

• 2. Valuables and dangerous objects won’t be accepted at the bag deposit location.

• 3. Deposit services won’t be available at any checkpoint. You can’t ask the staff to keep your things either.

• 4. Bags unclaimed by 5:30 p.m. on the race day can be claimed on the next day at the committee’s office in Panlong Lake Resort. Bags unclaimed in 7 days after the race will be considered abandoned.

• - Gathering Time

Time: March 26, 2017, 7 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.

42km and 25 km group will start with a gunshot at 8:30 a.m.

12km family group will start with a gunshot at 8:40 a.m.

• IV. Others

• - Medical Care

Medical aid stations will be set up along the course as well as at the finish location. There will be volunteers and staff at every medical aid station and every checkpoint to assist with medical care and maintain race order. Whenever there are problems along the course, participants can call the emergency number printed on the bib number to ask for help.

1. If you feel any discomfort in running, please do stop and ask for help.

2. Please bear in mind that in case of any emergencies in need of assistance, it’s important to know how to help yourself, how to help others and to ask for help immediately.

• - Award Ceremony

Award Winners: Top 6 male and female runners in all groups (official time)
