100/50/30km TRAIL RUNNING

Basic insurance is included in registration fee, however, we suggest you buy extra insurance for your own benefit.

Entry is non-transferable and entry fee is non-refundable!

Loop course, both start and finish are located at:

Mountain Laoshan Area,

Scenery Zone of The Chu Rhythm And Fragrance of Flowers,

Hot Water Spring Street,

Pukou, Nanjing

浦口(pu-kou)汤泉街道(tang-quan-jie-dao)楚韵花香景区(chu-yun-hua-xiang-jing-qu)老山(laoshan).

Requirement for registration:

All the participants should be above 18 years old by the day of 28^th, May.

1 100km

No less than 2 certifications of full marathon, or at least 1 certification of trail running event longer than 50km

2 50km

At least 1 certification of full marathon, or 1 certification of trail running events longer than 30km

3 30km

At least 1 certification of half marathon

Rules & Logistics

1) Disqualification

The Following faults or mistakes will lead to immediate disqualification.

Missing Checkpoint(s),

Taking short cut,

Littering,

Any violation about mandatory gears (see above),

Abusing wildlife and plants,

Racing with other’s bib.

2) About safety

All runners are supposed to be ready to help others if necessary.

Be responsible for your own actions.

Submit the waiver with your own signature when picking up bibs.

Race will be postponed if adverse weather happens. If postponed twice and still aborted due to bad weather, the registration fee is non-refundable.

Routes might be altered for the sake of safety.

3) About courtesy

Be nice and smile to staff and who help you.

Be polite when encounter with other hikers on trails.

4) About Logistics

More than 100 staff for service at checkpoints, supply stations and junctions along the route.

More than 50 people in charge of emergency rescue.

2 ambulances and highly trained medical personnel are standing by during the race.

Routes are well marked.

Water and featured delicacies are available at checkpoints.

Route is well maintained and free from venomous creatures.

2) About the Race

It is such a race that:

Trees and red flowers, trail green and sport red in bright daytime along the zig-zagged route with demanding ascents and nasty descents,

The pearl dipper sparkles and glitters in pitch dark above the relentless arena,

The remaining of Monastery of Universal Generousness (惠济寺 or hui-ji-si) tells the story from poets, emperors and abbots from a thousand years ago.

Whereas the runners:

Lightly move their feet in embroidery shoes with fast and steady pace,

Promptly dodge the obstacles on the technical and uneven terrain.

With hands they tear open the road among thorny bushes,

Flop over and leap out through the rocks with as variety of shapes.

Struggle to desperately exertion with ultimate and original strength,

Only to pursue the climax of physical pleasure and mental amusement

Well-known for various local dishes,

Revived from the most dark days in WWII,

And has developed into one of the most populated modern metropolis.
