1.参赛者必须自力走或跑毕全程。
2.参赛者在物资方面除赛事所供应的以外应大致自给自足,于比赛期间必须全时间携带所有赛事所指定的必备物品。
3.参赛者只可在检查站接受自行安排的支援队的协助。除非遭遇紧急情况,否则在检查站以外的其他地点,一律不得提供支援。
4.严禁陪跑员或支援跑手陪跑。为避免误会,于比赛路段期间不准许有任何非参赛者陪伴参赛者。
5.检查站提供的食物饮料,只供参赛者享用。
6.参赛编号必须置于赛衣前方,于任何时间均清晰可见。
7.参赛者退出比赛,均必须通知最近检查站的负责人员及签署退出表格(除非于比赛途中的医疗人员协助)。
8.参赛者在比赛途中需要救护协助,应拨电号码布上电话号码,与主办机构联络,主办机构人员即会尽力搜寻参赛者。
9.参赛者应紧随标示赛道前进,严禁另走捷径,参赛者若被发现违规,将被取消资格。
10.比赛期间,参赛者必须全时间携带各项指定装备,主办机构可能会随机进行装备检查。装备不全的参赛者,可能会受到额外计时以至取消资格等处分,视乎违规严重程度而定。
11.参赛者必须于所有时间遵行检查站负责人员及赛道纠察的方向指示。若参赛者于检查站关闭时间前仍未到达,必须根据指示退出比赛。
12.参赛者不得在沿途乱扔垃圾。
13.参赛者不得破坏或骚扰任何植物或动物。
14.参赛者不得服食禁药或违规药物。
15.参赛者须对其支援人员的行为负责。参赛者支援人员必须遵从主办机构职员和负责人员的一切指示。支援人员如有违规或作出不当行为,参赛者可能会被处分或取消参赛资格。
16.支援人员必须遵守所有检查站职员的指示,譬如按职员要求在检查站区域腾出空间。主办机构对支援人员的安全或行踪概不负责。
17.违反以上规则者可能会招致额外计时或取消参赛资格等处分,是否处分、如何处分由主办机构全权决定,不设上诉。
18.参赛者应为自己和他人的安全着想,无论任何时候应顾及路径的其他使用者。如遇其他参赛者受伤或不适,应加以援手。参赛者为协助受伤或不适的其他选手而耽误的时间,将在其完成时间中扣除。
19.UTMS赛事主办方已购置公众责任保险,但并不包括个人意外保险。主办机构建议参赛者自行投购个人意外保险。
20.主办机构保留酌情修改比赛规则、路线及/或其他安排的权利。
处罚
违反任何一项比赛规则有可能会受到计时处分或被取消参赛资格,取决于其严重性。
任何处罚或取消资格均由赛事作最终决定。

没有携带指定装备中的任何一项
走捷径及/或不根据赛事比赛路线比赛
参赛者及/或其支援人员乱抛垃圾
在检查站外接受支援
于赛道预先隐藏然后利用各类物资(包括食物、饮料及其他辅助工具)
非参赛者陪跑
乘坐交通工具
他人代跑
阻碍及/或导致其他参赛者受伤
服食禁药
更改或破坏比赛路线指示牌
破坏或骚扰任何植物或动物
不展示号码布
检查站关闭后仍继续比赛
不遵守赛事、纠察及应付紧急事故工作人员及/或义工的指示
辱骂赛事、纠察、应付紧急事故工作人员及/或义工,以及其他行山人仕
将号码布给予其他人使用
使用他人的号码布
保险
UTMS赛事主办方已有公众责任保险。这并不包括参赛者的个人意外保险。大会建议参赛者购买个人意外保险。
投诉
所有关于行为不检或违反比赛规则的投诉必须以文字形式交给赛事总监,并且于该参赛者到达终点后的两小时内。由赛事总监所作出的任何裁决将会是最终决定及不可上诉。
取消赛事
根据以下原因,赛事有权保留取消或缩短赛事的权力,包括不利的天气情况、山泥倾泻、大量落石及比赛路线发生山火、抗议示威或路线被封闭、不可抗力,即发生超出主办单位所能控制的事件和令举办比赛成为不可能,不安全或不切实际的情况。不可抗力事件包括但不限于天灾、战争、疾病的爆发以及恐怖主义行为和威胁。若此等情况发生,赛事将不会退回费用。
奖项
各组别均设男女前三名,除奖杯外发放相应奖品。
所有完成参赛者均获赠奖杯和完赛纪念服一件。
赛事指定装备
赛事进行期间,各参赛者必须携备下列物品:

保暖层服装,上衣材料为羊毛或抓绒(最小重量120克),长裤
紧急用太空毯或相类似保暖毯(最小尺寸130厘米x200厘米)

RULES
1.Participants must complete the marked course on foot under their own power.
2.Participants are required to be semi self-sufficient. You must have your mandatory equipment with you at all times during the race.
3.Outside assistance is only permitted at the checkpoints. Support crews are only permitted at the checkpoints. Support outside the checkpoints is not allowed, except in an emergency.
4.Pacers and support runners are strictly prohibited. For the avoidance of doubt, participants are not allowed to be accompanied along the course by anybody who has not entered into the event.
5.Refreshments at the checkpoints are reserved for runners only.
6.Race numbers must be visible at all times on the outside of clothing (at the front).
7.If you withdraw from the event, you must inform event officials and sign the withdrawal form at the closest checkpoint (unless assisted from the course by first aid crews).
8.If you need first aid help on the course you must use safe gear to contact event organisers who will make every effort to retrieve you.
9.Stay on the marked course. Short cuts are strictly prohibited.
10.You must carry the mandatory gear at all times during the event. Random gear checks may be performed during the event. Any participant without the mandatory gear will incur a penalty ranging from a time penalty to disqualification based on the severity of the breach.
11.You must obey directions of checkpoint staff and course marshals at all times. If you miss any cut-off times you must withdraw from the race as instructed.
12.Littering is strictly prohibited.
13.Damaging or disturbing any flora or fauna is strictly prohibited.
14.Doping and the use of prohibited drugs is strictly prohibited.
15.The participant is responsible for the actions of their support crew. Support crews must comply with all instructions from event staff and officials. The participant may be penalised or disqualified for actions or breaches of the rules by their support crew.
16.Support crews must follow the instructions of all checkpoint staff including requests to vacate certain sections of the checkpoint area. The event organisers are not responsible for the safety or whereabouts of support crew.
17.Breaking any of the rules may incur a time penalty or disqualification. Any such penalties are at the organisers’ discretion and are final.
18.Ensure your own safety and that of others.Be considerate of other trail and road users at all times. If another runner is injured or in distress, please assist. The race organiser will gladly deduct from your finishing time any time spent assisting an injured or distressed fellow participant.
19.UTMS organizers has its own public liability insurance. This does not include personal accident of participants. We recommend that you have your own personal accident cover.
20.The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the event rules and requirements, route and/or other arrangements as they deem appropriate.
PENALTIES
Breaking any of the rules and requirements of the event may incur a time penalty or disqualification, depending on the severity of the breach.
Any such penalty or disqualification are at the organiser’s discretion and are final.
The following are some types of breaches to highlight:
Not carrying any of the mandatory gear
Taking shortcuts and / or not following the official course
Littering by participant and / or support crew
Receiving support outside checkpoints
Using supplies (food, water and equipment) stashed away along the course
Running with people not registered in the event
Taking transport
Using substitute runners
Deliberately obstructing and/or causing injury to other participants
Doping and the use of prohibited drugs
Altering, damaging and/or otherwise tempering with course markings
Damaging or disturbing any flora or fauna along the course
Not wearing a race bib
Continuing after cut-off times
Not following instructions given by race officials, marshals and emergency attendants and/or volunteers
Being abusive to race officials, marshals, emergency attendants, other trail users and/or volunteers
Allowing somebody else to use his / her race bib
Using a race bib of somebody else
INSURANCE
UTMS organizers has its own public liability insurance.This does not include personal accident of participants. We recommend that you have your own personal accident cover.
COMPLAINTS
All complaints of misconduct or breach of rules must be made in writing and received by the Race Director within 2 hours of the arrival of the participant concerned. Any ruling made by the Race Director will be final and without appeal.
EVENT CANCELLATION
The organisers reserve the right to cancel or cut short the event for the following reasons:adverse weather conditions,landslides, rockfalls or hill fires along the course,protests or blockage along the course,force majeure i.e. due to occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the organiser and which renders it impossible, unsafe or impractical to hold the event. A force majeure event shall include, but is not limited to, act of God, war, hostilities, acts or threats of terrorism.In such event no refund of the registration fee will be provided.
PRIZES
Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each of the male and female category
A unique souvenir trophy and Wind jacket will be awarded to all finishers.
GEAR
Mandatory gear
Each participant will need to carry with them at all times the following items:
A mobile phone
A headlamp/torch (with batteries)
A whistle
Warm fleece or warm long sleeve shirt. Cotton shirts are not allowed. (minimum 150g)
An emergency space blanket or equivalent
Capacity to carry at least 1.5 litres of water (water bladder or water bottles)
2 energy bars / food portions
A ziploc bag for your personal rubbish
Race bib
Some cash
Cup - We will not be providing disposable cups at the checkpoints. Please bring along your own cup in order to enjoy the different kinds of beverages offered.
There will be random gear checks during the event and if you are missing any item you will incur a penalty which may range from a time penalty to disqualification, depending on the severity of the breach.
